Thanks for All the Fish
It's Canadian Thanksgiving on Monday, so I thought I'd share some stats and say a few thanks.
Some Stats:
Most popular comics:
1. See Plato
2. August Series
3. Context-Shift
4. Dualist Perspectives
5. TETRIS and Philosophy
Top referring sites:
1. Philosophical Humour
2. StumbleUpon
3. The Pursuit of Harpyness
Strangest google search query reports:
1. retarted frog
2. prankip
3. principia comica
Some Thanks:
First, I'm thankful to Chase who initially helped me set up the website while I acted like a stereotypical girl flailing and pouting when I couldn't get things to work. I can now admit that some of the time I was only feigning helplessness due to pure laziness. You're a star!
Second, I'd like to further thank Faye, Simone and Jess (all of them non-philosophers) who were some of the first people to see any of my little MS Paint doodlings and comment on them. My favourite comment being:
"I get them........in a "Hahaha, OH LOOK, COMICS!" kinda way. xD 7am giggle=Rima WIN"
Third, as cheesy and corny as it is, I have to thank my Philosophy department, my profs and my mates with whom I take classes, go to colloquiums, conferences, sushi and out drinking with. You're all a constant source of material, and I mean that in the nicest way possible! If I was actually un-lazy enough to draw and scan images, then certain people would feature as recurring characters. If that's made you paranoid about whether a comic is about you, HA!
Fourth, I have to thank the readers of Principia Comica. You guys are awesome and I hope that I give you at least a small chuckle each Sunday.
