Are you a wizard?
Student: What book is that book there? [I had been reading earlier before work and had left the book beside the piano]
Me: That's Knowledge, Possibility and Consciousness by John Perry.
Student: What's it about?
Me: It's about the Mind-Body problem, but let's not talk about that right now.
Student: Who's John Perry?
Me: A Philosopher.
Student: So he's a wizard?
Me: Wait...what???
Student: In Harry Potter, the first book is about a Philosopher. The Philosopher's Stone.
At which point I had to explain the difference between Alchemy and Philosophy, and the conversation ended with the following:
Me: Trust me. I study Philosophy and I'm not a wizard.

P.S. I turn 21 in April and I'm still waiting for my letter from Hogwarts.
